For this week’s question we turn our attention to Carmel Valley and ask…how many Carmel Valley single family homes have sold in the past year? Here’s a hint: the previous years’ totals going backwards were 54, 84, 88, 146, and 169 sales (wow, 169 sales in a year, remember those days!):

b) 57
c) 66
d) 74
…and the answer is… C, 66 homes have sold in the past year in Carmel Valley. Althought this is indeed far from the heady days of 140+ sales in a year, it still indicates that we’re seeing an improvement in activity over last year, and increased activity is the first sign of a market recovery.
